Additional Footpaths and Traffic Calming Measures on the Hutton Mount Estate

Hutton Mount Limited are pleased to inform you that the planning application for works to the roads and footpaths on some of the Hutton Mount Estate was unanimously approved by Brentwood Borough Council at a Planning Committee meeting on 30th June.

Martyn Pattie, Hutton Mount Limited’s Estate Surveyor, spoke at the Committee meeting in support of the application.

An agreement was made to consider some of the objections received to the planning application and to resolve individual concerns.

🌿 Enhancing Safety and Accessibility

The approved works are very important for health and safety reasons and have been based on risk assessments carried out by Street Space Design Limited and this will hopefully ensure that the road junctionsare made safer for both vehicles and pedestrians.

In addition, residents, visitors and pupils from St Martin’s School will be able to walk along a footpath, rather than potentially walking along the muddy verges (OR IN THE ROAD) during the winter months.

🏡 Building on Previous Success

This is the second planning application for footpaths on the Estate that Hutton Mount Limited has submitted to Brentwood Borough Council and has been approved.

The first phase was IMPLEMENTED successfully and is an improvement to the Estate.

🚗 Looking Ahead: Tackling Speeding and Future Improvements

In the future, Hutton Mount Limited will consider further works to assist in reducing speeding on the Estate.

The Directors of Hutton Mount Limited believe that all residents benefit from these positive improvements to the Estate.
