HEALTH & SAFETY ON THE HUTTON MOUNT ESTATE

The Directors of Hutton Mount Limited have been approached by a number of residents requesting that they consider installing speed bumps on the through roads on the Estate, particularly on Ridgeway.

The Directors of Hutton Mount Limited must consider all Health & Safety measures as part of a comprehensive plan for the Estate rather than just individual measures.

Accordingly, and as the Heronway/Roundwood Avenue footpath is now more or less completed, they propose to ask Hutton Mount Limited’s Health & Safety experts to carry out a Health & Safety review to look at other measures which would make the Estate safer for both pedestrians and motor vehicles. They will of course take into account that some roads already have footpaths for pedestrian safety.

As previously pointed out, the Directors of Hutton Mount Limited will rely on that expert advice in their decision making process.

We are also approaching a new three year Road Fund Levy period (April 2025) so the Directors of Hutton Mount Limited will need to allow for a specific budget amount for any proposed Health & Safety measures.

Once the investigations are completed we will advise all residents of the proposals and of course the proposed costs will be included in the 2025 Levy calculations.

The investigations are still ongoing.
